Dean Brettschneider

Dean is a global-based professional baker and patissier with an international following. Award-winning author of twelve cookbooks & presenter and judge in multiple TV shows, Dean co-owns and is the founder of the successful artisan bakeries Baker & Cook and Plank Sourdough Pizza in Singapore.

Chef Emmanuel Stroobant

Hailing from Belgium, Emmanuel's career began at a tender age of 16 with the cleaning of dishes in one of his country’s best restaurants. At 23, he opened his first restaurant in his hometown, Liege. It was an overnight success. In 1997, Emmanuel and his wife moved to Kuala Lumpur and after a short stint there, moved to Singapore and opened the doors of their first Singapore restaurant, Saint Pierre in December 2000. Helen Burge

Helen is a passionate foodie, cook and entertainer. A vegetarian for more than 20 years, she loves to create dishes that would turn any meat lover's attention to the humble vegetable. Helen joined Brettschneider's Baking & Cooking School as Operations Manager and Tutor after the successful completion of her charity cookbook, After Dinner Mints for Breakfast. She happily shares her time between the cooking school office, kitchen and looking after her two cheeky girls.
